Matt Junak
Matt has been controlling lights nearly his entire life – turning them on and off as he moves room to room. He joined up with the band in 2008 to help them grow to the next level by incorporating a custom effects show to go along with the already point-on musical experience. Matt grew up building computers and taking apart anything electronic that he could get his hands on. Fast forward a couple years and he is now working as a professional engineer with one of the most fun jobs in the band: designing and running lights and melting faces with lasers. Influences for lighting include countless hours of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters shows (Marc Brickman); Chris Kuroda (Phish); John Broderick (Metallica);and, Howard Ungerleider (Rush).
