Michael Lang Originally from Pittsburgh, and now living in Lansing, Mike has been a long-time admirer of Nick Mason's crystalline ride cymbal work and has said that he can't believe that he will now be able to play Nick Mason's roto-tom solo in all it's chromed glory. The roto-tom solo was iconic drumming to Mike and his drumming peers in orchestra and marching band. Mason's drumming, as well as the music of Floyd, has been a thread running throughout his life starting when he first picked up the instrument over 25 years ago. Mike's role is to bring people into the music, never getting in the way of the music, and carry the listener along for the trip on a floating cloud of rhythm.
