Tom Beller
Bass, backing vocals
(Roger Waters, Guy Pratt)
He may look old but he's younger than anyone else in the band! Inspired by the never ending quest for the "brown note", Tom was inspired at a tender young age of 13 to pick up the bass by such players as Les Claypool, Tony Levin, Victor Wooten, Paul Jackson, and Jaco Pastorius to name a few. Bass acrobatics aside, when it came to the songs he loved, the classic bass players really stuck with him (John Entwistle, John Paul Jones, and of course Roger Waters). Tom is the former bass player from the Celtic rock band The Lash. He enjoyed a short stint with Lansing-based bluegrassers, Stepping In It, and is an on-call bassist for many lower Michigan bands. When he received the call to play with Echoes of Pink Floyd, he immediately went out and completed his Pink Floyd album collection with a fresh LP of "Obscured by Clouds" and a brand new hookah…all kidding aside, he takes his role in a band very seriously.
